Hi, I am Fatemeh Shahmirzadi, a Master’s student in Electrical Engineering (Control) and a researcher at the Interactive Robotics Laboratory (IRLab), Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).

Field(s): Robotic eye surgery, visual tracking, deep learning, surgical robotics, nonlinear control, RCM-based mechanisms, modeling & simulation, medical image analysis.

My research focuses on the PERSIS robot for retinal surgery, particularly on 3D eye position estimation and visual tracking using deep learning algorithms for high-precision, real-time intraocular interventions.
