Interactive Robotics

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Mohammad A. Khosravi, the Interactive Robotics Laboratory (INRO Lab) conducts research at the intersection of intelligent systems, human-robot interaction, and advanced control. The lab focuses on developing cable-driven parallel robots and intelligent robotic systems that collaborate with humans in dynamic environments. INRO Lab thrives through strong connections between academia, industry, and innovation ecosystems, turning foundational research into practical solutions that address real-world challenges.

Our Story

The Interactive Robotics Laboratory (INRO Lab) explores the frontiers of robotics by developing intelligent systems with real-world applications to advance the field of intelligent robotics. Our mission is to design and model dynamic robotic systems, integrating advanced control strategies and artificial intelligence, to enable seamless operation in complex, real-world environments. Our research spans multiple domains within robotics

Human Robot

• Designing socially aware systems that can safely and effectively collaborate with humans in rehabilitation, assistive care, and daily environments.

cable robot

Developing lightweight, flexible robotic systems with high payload-to-weight ratios, used in both large-scale motion tasks and rehabilitation settings.

Rehabilitation Robotics

Designing robots that enhance motor recovery and physical therapy with personalized, human-centered control techniques.
